Session V - August 6 to August 23

3 Weeks

 Max Power and Strength Phase

  • Last phase of the program, designed to tie everything together completely preparing the athlete for the upcoming season.
  • Lower reps with heavy weights, we will perform maximal load lifts during this phase to build maximum strength levels entering the upcoming season
  • Low rep high intensity plyometrics will be performed during this phase to help build up to maximum power levels entering the upcoming season 

 

Focus of On Ice Sessions:

  • Component of puck skill development and confidence
  • Component of skating, edgework, and balance
  • High tempo small area and full ice scrimmages
  • Keep a player on the ice and ready for the competition of upcoming tryouts

 

Focus of Total Hockey Sessions:

  • Developing all puck skills
  • Improving on ice vision and playmaking ability
  • raising players tempo with the puck
  • Skating Mechanics and quick starts
  • All with personal data tracking, online player profiles, and instant feedback
